Problem Statement
A dashboard design that meets user needs while promoting safe social media use in cars.
Roader is a dashboard design that supports safe in-car social media use and meets passenger needs. A safe, comfortable and convenient driving experience for the driver is provided by limiting the use of distracting functions with parking gear, reducing the need to reach the phone with a road-safe interface design, keeping the phone out of sight by moving the wireless phone charging area to the storage area, reducing distraction with voice command feature, bringing the panels and controls closer to the driver and making them more accessible. The cameras placed in the automobile and the video and photo editing features in the interface, which meet the socialization and entertainment needs of the user, aim to make live broadcast and other instant social media sharing easier.
